Wednesday 2:15 pm; Saturday 1:30 pm
Each year, approximately 13,000 North Koreans risk their lives in an attempt to flee the country. Very few survive, and many are often sent back where they face death or life in prison. Those who make it out escape starvation and a ruthless dictator. Fewer among these ever fully escape that dictator’s mental grip. GO TO WHERE THE LIGHT IS: ESCAPING NORTH KOREA is the story of one survivor who had the strength to do both: Yeonmi Park.
Panel: "Escape from Communism" Yeonmi Park, Tim Hedberg, Josh Oldham
