Trying to advance justice and public safety solutions through the reformation of problematic laws and policy. Laws prohibiting consensual adult behavior have been some of our most dissasterous policies contributing to the erosion of our liberties. Consider drug prohibition (the war on drugs) as a clear example. From these policies come civil forfeiture, unconstitutional surveillance, 4th Amendment violations, government over-reach, police militarization, and much more. Through these policies, we have turned our Constitution guardians (the police) into our greatest threat against our cherished liberties, with that ultimate threat being the loss of life. It's time to demand that our police keep the oath they have sworn to, protecting the Constitution of these United States. And let's support them by removing and/or reforming laws that are in conflict.
