Lesley Skousen earned her Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She has contributed to the field of education for a decade, specializing in online and blended learning in high school, college, and adult learning. Dr. Skousen was invited to address the IMF about how online education can change global access to quality education."Her work online has included online instruction, course scaffolding, faculty training, curriculum design, and e-text publication. She currently works as the Lead Placement Director representing 8,000 tutors and 25 cities along the East Coast for Varsity Tutors. Dr. Skousen has published articles on English common law during the Reformation as it pertains to witchcraft, immigration, mercy, and authority. She also wrote a college textbook on world history and helped found a boarding school in Princeton, NJ. Her award-winning podcast "Footnoting History" can be found on iTunes, where it recently celebrated its millionth download over four years. She lives in Chicago.
