Mike Cobb speaks at dozens of international conferences annually about offshore real estate finance, development, and ownership. He was a consultant to The Oxford Club, hosted a weekly radio program, contributes regularly to overseas publications, sits on the board of several international companies, gives counsel to various real estate projects throughout Central America, serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and presents at numerous national and international conferences around the world. Mike and his business partner formed Exotic Caye International (ECI) to provide loans to North Americans purchasing properties in Central America. As Caye International Bank Limited, it  has expanded its services to encompass the full realm of financial products. Cobb also predicted the growing need for high quality, residential product for North American Baby Boomer retirees and created ECI Development as a holding company for properties in Belize, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and soon in Ecuador and Chile, using a  model based on the Del Webb Sun City active senior communities in the U.S.
