Popular panelist, moderator, and entertainer Naomi Brockwell is taking over the duties of General Session Emcee at FreedomFest’s Tenth Anniversary. Naomi is well known in libertarian circles for her sound economic and political thinking and for her enthusiastic support of bitcoin as the currency of the 21st century. She is a producer for the Stossel Show and a contributor for Reason TV, and is co-founder with Gene Epstein of the Soho Forum, a monthly lecture series in New York. She has produced numerous award-winning feature films, including the 2015 feature documentary Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It (Best International Documentary, Anthem Film Festival; Special Jury Prize, Amsterdam Film Festival; Best Film, Amsterdam Film Festival), executive producer of the 2015 Lionsgate thriller Subconscious, and co-executive producer and casting producer of the 2015 documentary drama Audition (Best Documentary, Lone Star Film Festival; Best Film Editing, Manchester International Film Festival). Naomi is a familiar face at FreedomFest, having attended as a speaker and panelist for the past six years. She also starred as Lady Guinivere in the FreedomFest Follies production of “Camelot Revisited” in 2014, sharing the stage with fellow FreedomFest thespians Steve Forbes, Grover Norquist, Matt Welch, Alexander Green, Gary Alexander and Mark Skousen.
