Sean Flynn is the author of the international best seller Economics for Dummies as well as the coauthor of the world’s best-selling college economics textbook, Economics: Principles, Problems, and Policies. A former national champion in the Japanese martial art of aikido, Sean currently serves as an associate professor of economics at Scripps College in Claremont, California. His research specialties are behavioral economics and behavioral finance, with a focus on irrational investors. Sean holds a Ph.D. in economics from U.C. Berkeley, where he completed his dissertation under the supervision of Nobel Laureate George Akerlof.
