In 1999, Rick Carlesco and a few others purchased a FINRA broker/dealer and began their own firm. Beginning with a team of just ten, they are now over 50 strong and growing. Most have had experience working for large investment companies and did not like the pressure of fitting clients into the companies' specific products.
